Overcoming Artists Marketing Struggles with the 3 Core Missions of Our Digital Marketing Course for Artists

Why did I create Artist's Launch Academy?

The Artist Launch Academy was born out of a very personal experience—one that I've carried with me since childhood. My older sister was always an incredible artist. I grew up watching her dedicate her life to her craft, creating breathtaking pieces that reflected her soul and talent. But there was something else I watched, too: the struggle for her art to be taken seriously.

I remember hearing our father tell her again and again that she would never make enough money with her art. It was either marry rich or get a “real job.” To him, her art was always just a hobby—something to do on weekends, not a way to make a living.

It hurt me to watch her go through that. I found out in my adult life that this is true for quite a bit of artist.

The Best Place to Sell Your Artwork Online Isn't Where You Think It Is

Let's talk about something that's been the elephant in the art studio for far too long – marketing your art.

After countless conversations with over 100 artists (yes, I actually sat down and talked with that many!), I discovered something that honestly shocked me: there's literally no comprehensive marketing education available for artists.

None. Zip. Nada.

That's exactly why I created the Artist's Launch Academy – the first educational platform dedicated solely to teaching artists how to sell art effectively.

No more relying solely on galleries.

No more struggling with piecemeal marketing advice that doesn't quite fit.

No more feeling lost and without a plan.
